Botswana Adventure Camping Safari
The Botswana Adventurer offers a unique experience to budget conscious travellers with a full participation safari that takes you through some of Botswana’s finest National Parks and Game Reserves. Participation means that the guests will participate in all camp duties including the erecting and dismantling of the camp, collecting of firewood, washing dishes etc which all lend to authentic experience of a mobile safari. The Botswana Adventurer Safari meanders through Chobe National Park, Savute, Moremi Game Reserve, through the world-famous Okavango Delta and on to the vast Makgadikgadi Salt Pans.
Kasane to Chobe National Park
Upon arrival to Kasane airport you will be met and transferred to tour departure point and meet your fellow travelers.
Later in the afternoon enjoy a game drive in Chobe National Park to witness large herds of elephant. The Chobe River front includes an array of stunning bio-diversity including lions, hippopotamus, buffallo, puku, wild dog and the majestic sable antelope.

Chobe National Park to Savute
The day will start off with a 4-6 hour sightseeing drive via the village of Kachikau through to the alluring Chobe Forest Reserve with its breathtaking variety of animals and birds. By midday you will arrive in Savute which is famous for many of Botswana's wildlife documentaries, in time for lunch.
The game drive in Savute will allow you to gaze at the dominant hills containing preserved San bushmen paintings. Savute showcases a healthy population of leopard who live up on the picturesque hills. The Savute Channel which flows into the marsh for the first time in 30 years provides a perfect paradise for birds and other wildlife.

Savute to Moremi Game Reserve
Early morning departure from Savute to arrive in Moremi around midday for delicious lunch. The afternoon game drive will allow you to delve into the Moremi Game Reserve with it's huge diversity of majestic African wildlife and beautiful scenery. By night camp out near the surrounding community managed wildlife management area for an authentic experience.

Moremi Game Reserve to Maun
Pack up and leave the campsite to indulge in an early morning captivating game drive to Moremi which is one of the most beautiful and varied reserves found on the African continent containing large concentrations of wildlife and incredible scenary. Moremi Game Reserve to Maun is approximately a 4-5 hour drive, so meanwhile enjoy a delightful picnic lunch en-route to Maun and arrive in the late afternoon.

Maun to Okavango Delta
Maun is the gateway to Okavango Delta which is situated in the middle of the largest stretch of continuous sand in the world known as the Kalahari basin. The day will start will start out with a venture out into the Delta in 'mokoros' which are canoes dug-out by polers from the local villages. Experience the thrilling myriads of waterways and secret secluded lagoons in your mokoro. The Delta itself is a vast inland water system dotted with thousands of islands home to a diverse range of spectacular wildlife including sitatunga antelope and red lechwe.
After the adventure at Okavango Delta head back to Maun by the late afternoon. As an optional activity you can include a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta in a helicopter or fixed wing airplane to get a bird's eye view of the magnificent Delta wetlands.

Maun to Makgadikgadi Salt Pans
Start the day with a 4-6 hour drive from Maun to travel to the vast shimmering salt flats on the edge of Makgadikgadi on the outer Kalahari basin. Depending on the season you will stop for lunch at Chapman's Baobabs also known as the seven sisters and is one of the largest tress in the world. The final night of this journey will be spent camping out under the night sky and a blanket of stars near the salt pans.

Makgadikgadi Salt Pans to Kasane
Begin the day with a drive from Makgadikgadi Salt Pans to Kasane which is 350km away and will take 4-6 hours. The drive will pass through an agriculture area known as Pandamatenga which is the only crop producing area in Botswana. Along the drive pass Pandamatenga feast your eyes on the charming elephants and sable antelope. The transfer will reach the border of Kasane after midday.

Kasane to Victoria Falls (Shared)
Transfer from Kasane to your hotel in Victoria Falls.
Words frequently fail to capture the grandeur of Victoria Falls, located on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia. Spanning nearly two kilometres and dropping about 108 metres, this UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site is the largest waterfall in the world—thanks to the sheer volume of water cascading over its crags every minute.
Victoria Falls Tour
Today you will be collected from your hotel for your 2-hour guided tour of Victoria Falls. Throughout your tour, you will be accompanied by a guide who will be sure to point out all of the interesting flora, fauna, bird and wildlife as well as an interesting history of the falls. You will be provided with a raincoat when necessary and at the end of the tour you will be taken back to your hotel.
Zambezi Sundowner Cruise
This evening you will enjoy a 2-hour sunset cruise on the Zambezi River which is a superb way to relax and enjoy the beauty of the river. Known as the fourth longest river in Africa, the Zambezi River also offers opportunities for activities such as kayaking, canoe trips, river cruises and daily floats on both the Zimbabwe and Zambian sides. Throughout your cruise you will have the opportunity to see a variety of game including hippo, crocodile, elephant and sometimes even rhino as well as a range of bird species. Included in your cruise are finger snacks, beer, wine and soft drinks.
Departure
At the scheduled time today our representative will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Victoria Falls Airport for your departure flight.
Arrive in Cape Town
On arrival into Cape Town Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Cape Town's most distinctive feature is its stunning setting: it lies on a dramatic coastline of pristine white beaches and ice waters, overlooked by the iconic flat-topped Table Mountain. Its attractions cover the natural world and the country's fascinating history in equal measure.
City Tour
The tour commences with a pick up at your hotel between approximately 8.00am and 8:30am. Few places in the world possess the beauty and style of the historic and culturally vibrant city of Cape Town and today you will explore its historical beginnings to the colourful and vibrant melting pot it is today. The city shelters beneath the majestic backdrop of Table Mountain, which is flanked by the landmarks of Devils Peak, Lions Head and Signal Hill.
Every visit to Cape Town should commence with a journey to Table Mountain as the breathtaking views across the region are a superb way to familiarise yourself with your new surroundings. You will have the opportunity to take an optional cable car to the summit (cable car fee not included) before we return to the city and explore sights such as the impressive Company Gardens, the S. A. Museum, the Castle of Good Hope, Greenmarket Square and the picturesque Bo-Kaap district.
Cape Point & Peninsula Tour
The tour commences with a pick up at your hotel between approximately 8:00am and 8:30am. Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at a Llandudno look-out point before continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach. On through Chapman's Peak, one of the world's most breathtaking coastal drives, to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve, which has magnificent fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species and zebra, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks. Cape Point is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
After lunch at a nearby restaurant (not included in cost), go on to historic Simon's Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. Boulders Penguin Colony is home to a growing colony of the vulnerable African Penguin. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view the penguins in their natural habitat and there is also a new information centre.
You then make your way to visit the well-known Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. The Garden is one of eight National Botanical Gardens covering five of South Africa's six different biomes. When Kirstenbosch, the most famous of the gardens, was founded in 1913 to preserve the country's unique flora, it was the first botanical garden in the world with this ethos. The garden is world-renowned for the beauty and diversity of the Cape Flora it displays and for the magnificence of its setting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. You will be returned to your hotel at approximately 17:30.
Garden Route Splendour
A classic tour of the Garden Route starting in Cape Town and ending in the friendly city of Port Elizabeth. You take in all the highlights from the evocative, sepia-tinged landscapes of the Karoo to jewel bright greens and blues of the forests and lagoons.
Day 1: Cape Town - Mossel Bay
Travel through the picturesque Sir Lowry's Pass, surrounded by magnificent mountains. Stop for coffee and a short rest at a farm stall at the top of Sir Lowry's pass. The journey continues through Caledon, Napier and Bredasdorp on your way to Cape Agulhas. You will spend some time at the Cape Agulhas lighthouse before departing for lunch in Swellendam. Thereafter continue onward to Mossel Bay for your overnight stay.
Day 2: Mossel Bay - Oudtshoorn
Depart Mossel Bay after a leisurely breakfast via the scenic Robinson Pass. Continue to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world and home to the spectacular limestone caverns of the Cango Caves. Visit an Ostrich Farm for a guided tour, followed by a wine tasting at a local wine estate before enjoying a tour of the Cango Caves, one of the world’s great natural wonders, sculpted by nature through the ages. Overnight in Oudtshoorn.

Day 3: Oudtshoorn - Knysna
After breakfast, travel over the Outeniqua Pass to George, the sixth oldest town in South Africa, with many historical landmarks such as the Slave Tree and King Edward VII Library building; said to be the best example of Edwardian architecture in the town. The tour travels via Wilderness, an attractive holiday resort to Knysna, known as the oyster box of South Africa, nestling on the banks of a beautiful lagoon in the heart of the Garden Route.
Enjoy a lagoon cruise to the Featherbed Nature Reserve, where you can take a trailer ride to the top of the Western Head to enjoy panoramic views of the town and lagoon, returning for lunch under the milkwood trees. The afternoon is at leisure to further explore this charming town set around a natural harbour lagoon.

Day 4: Knysna
Today you’ll have the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the Knysna area. Your journey will include a visit to the Garden of Eden, set in the lush, green, indigenous Knysna forest. The major attraction is the forest itself, beautiful yellow wood trees, thick green foliage and streams. Afterwards you’ll have the opportunity to visit Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary, where you will be able to see a variety of primates, roaming free in the forest. The sanctuary is well known for its efforts to rehabilitate and free previously caged primates.
The tour continues to the famous Eastern Head, where you will enjoy spectacular views of the Knysna Heads (weather permitting). Afterwards you will travel to Brenton on Sea, a breathtaking holiday location and a nature lover’s paradise with its unspoilt beaches and peaceful surroundings. The remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure.

Day 5: Tsitsikamma National Park
After breakfast, travel to Plettenberg Bay, the jewel of the Garden Route, before visiting Birds of Eden sanctuary, the biggest single free flight aviary in the world. The sanctuary was developed to create a safe environment in which to release a large collection of free-flight African birds. Our journey continues to Bloukrans Bridge, the highest single span arch bridge in the world, currently offering the highest commercially operated Bungy Jump in the world.
Visit the Tsitsikamma National Park and Storms River Mouth (weather permitting). The Tsitsikamma National Park incorporates 80 km of rocky coastline with spectacular sea and landscapes, a remote mountainous region with secluded valleys covered in mountain Fynbos and temperate high forests with deep river gorges leading down to the sea. Overnight in the Tsitsikamma area.

Day 6: Tsitsikamma - Port Elizabeth
Head eastwards along the Tsitsikamma Forest to Port Elizabeth, known as the “friendly city”, with a wonderful climate. Enjoy a city orientation tour of Port Elizabeth, after which the tour ends. Guests may disembark, on request, at Port Elizabeth Airport.
