Day 1: Luxor
On arrival in Luxor you will be met and transferred to your Nile Cruise boat. After lunch on board the boat you will head out to visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor along the East Bank.

Day 2: Valley of the Kings
This morning you will visit the West Bank to explore the burial grounds in the famous Valley of the Kings and the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, passing by the Colossi of Memnon which was known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn. Return to the boat for lunch and an afternoon at leisure while the boat sails along the Nile to Esna and crosses the Lock.

Day 3: Temple of Horus - Temple of Kom Ombo
This morning you will explore the largest and most completely preserved Pharaonic (albeit Greek-built) temple in Egypt, the extraordinary Temple of Horus at Edfu. Return to the boat for lunch as the boat sails on and then this afternoon you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the riverbank.

Day 4: Aswan
This morning you will sail on to Aswan where you will visit the High Dam, Philae Temple and Unfinished Obelisk located at the granite quarries that supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples. Return to the ship for lunch and this afternoon you will enjoy a traditional Felucca ride sailing around Kitchener’s Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum.

Day 5: Disembark
After a buffet breakfast on board, check out and disembark at 8:00 AM.
