Day 1: Punta Carrion
Arriving in the late morning, fly to Baltra airport from Mainland Ecuador. The dive guides will meet you at the airport between 11:30 am and 12 pm and escort you to the Galapagos liveaboard, Tiburon Explorer. After boarding the vessel, have lunch and listen to the briefings. After the briefings, take a check out dive at Punta Carrion.
Day 2: Baltra North
There will be 2 dives today at Baltra North, at 6:30am and 9:30am. Possible sightings during this dive include rays and schools of fish. In the afternoon, head to North Seymour for a land visit, where you will be able to see large colonies of blue-footed boobies and frigate birds, as well as marine iguanas and sea lions. Later, depart for Wolf Island.
Day 3: Wolf Island
You will be given the chance for four fives at Wolf Island, at 6:30, 10:30. 2:00 and 4:30.
Sightings often include hammerheads, whale sharks (in season), eagle rays, sea lions, Galapagos sharks and silky sharks.
Day 4: Darwin Island
Today, dives will take place at 6:30, 10:30, 2:00 and 4:30. As with Wolf Island, sightings often include hammerheads, whale sharks (in season) eagle rays, Galapagos sharks and silky sharks. In the afternoon you will head back to Wolf Island.
Day 5: Wolf Island
You will be given the chance for four fives at Wolf Island, at 6:30, 10:30. 2:00 and 4:30.
Sightings often include hammerheads, whale sharks (in season), eagle rays, sea lions, Galapagos sharks and silky sharks. In the afternoon, head to Cabo Douglas. which will take approximately 12 hours.
Day 6: Cabo Douglas
At Cabo Douglas, sightings of marine iguanas are common. You will then transit to Punta Vicente Roca, where you will see the spectacular mola mola and sea turtles before heading to Cousins Rock.
Day 7: Cousins Rock
The dive at Cousins Rock will provide you with an excellent chance of seeing sea horses, sea lions and eagle rays. Following this, lunch will be served while transiting to Santa Cruz, approximately 3 hours away. You will then travel by bus to the Santa Cruz Highlands to visit the giant tortoises in their natural habitat, before transferring to the town of Puerto Ayora. After dinner, return to the Tiburon Explorer at 8:30pm.
Day 8: Baltra
After breakfast, you will disembark the vessel and transfer to Baltra Airport for departure.
