Arrive
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru via Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Kenya section of Africa’s Great Rift Valley. Here you have an opportunity to take a short boat ride (boat ride not included) where you can spot the great range of game in the region including giraffe, buffalo, monkeys and hippo.
We continue on to Lake Nakuru keeping an eye out for game along the way. Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley’s soda lakes and is rich in birdlife with over 400 resident species including abundant pink flamingos which number their thousands, sometimes millions and feed on the algae in the lake.
You'll drive through the park and arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon we embark on a game drive and along with the birdlife we will hopefully spot the rare Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhinos and predators such as lions, cheetah and leopard. Dinner at your lodge.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast at your lodge you will proceed across the beautiful Great Rift Valley to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Situated in the south-eastern corner of Kenya, the reserve is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals on earth. The Masai Mara and the Mara River form part of the world-famous Great Annual Wildebeest Migration, and timing your Masai Mara safari to coincide with this can be critical.
We will arrive in time for picnic lunch and this afternoon you can enjoy another game-viewing drive. Spotting lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators will be the highlight of your day and with any luck, you might even spot a traditional Maasai Warrior.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Game Viewing
Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Masai Mara to search for the myriad species of game that make this reserve their home. Rise early for a dawn game drive, returning to the camp in time for breakfast. Or perhaps to the Mara River or the Musiara Marsh on half day with picnic breakfast. Return to the camp in time for lunch, followed by a rest in the shaded tent or relax on the veranda of your tent, watching the game go by. Later head out on an afternoon game drive returning to camp to enjoy a sundowner around the campfire, exchanging stories of the day with the other guests. Dinner by candlelight completes the day, after which an askari will guide you to your tent.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Masai Mara Lodge to Tanzania Border
After breakfast you will be transferred by our representative to the Tanzania border where you will clear immigration.
Serengeti National Park
After crossing the Tanzania border, you will clear immigration and exchange vehicles for the long drive into Serengeti. Alone the way we will have the chance to spot game once we enter the Serengeti National Park.
The Serengeti National Park is one of the best-known wildlife sanctuaries in the world, unrivalled for its natural beauty and scientific value. With more than two million wildebeest, half a million Thomson's gazelle, and a quarter of a million zebra, it has the greatest concentration of game in Africa. The wildebeest and zebra form the star cast of the spectacular migration which usually crosses into the Serengeti between May and July.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Game Viewing
Today you will enjoy a full day of game drives in the majestic Serengeti. As far as the eye can see, thousands upon thousands of animals in herds, wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of animals: the predators. You will be able to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself; the lion. The Serengeti is also home to almost 500 different bird species, including; vultures, storks, flamingos, martial and fish eagles and ostriches.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Depart this morning for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will pass through the town of Karatu before reaching the Ngorongoro Conservation area. The crater is 2000ft. deep, and considered to be the 8th wonder of the world. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera in the world with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Stop en-route at Olduvai Gorge, site of archeological findings where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered. Visit the on-site museum and witness a panoramic view of the historical excavation site.
Lunch and Dinner included.
Ngorongoro Crater Safari
A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart to explore what is commonly referred to as the World’s largest natural wildlife arena. After breakfast, you descend with a picnic lunch through the early morning mists and 2,000 feet into the crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. A truly unique wildlife experience. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.
Lunch included.
Ngorongoro to Manyara with Mto wa Mbu visit (Private)
After breakfast depart for Mto wa Mbu and enjoy a walk through the Mto Wa Mbu village for a cultural experience with an experienced, English speaking guide who grew up in the area. Continue to Lake Manyara where you will enjoy a picnic lunch and an afternoon game drive. Apart from its abundant bird life, Lake Manyara National Park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions.

Manyara to Namanga Border
This morning you will depart for Arusha with an optional stop at the Cultural Heritage centre souvenir shop and art gallery. On a clear day you will see Mount Meru standing tall over the city of Arusha. You will finally arrive at the Arusha Coffee Lodge where you will enjoy a meal in the lush green gardens. After lunch you may have some time to visit Shanga, an uplifting local community social enterprise which employs people with disabilities to create unique handmade gifts. Following this you will be transferred to Namaga border.
Amboseli National Park
Upon arrival at the border, you will exchange vehicles and be transferred the remainder of the way to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. The snow of the mountain forms a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most spectacular displays of wildlife including lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and host of plains game.
Time permitting we will enjoy a game drive before arriving to our lodge where the evening is spent.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Game Viewing
The entire day is set aside for game viewing in Amboseli National Park. This park is famous for iconic images of elephant herds on the plains with snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. We hope for good weather so you can see this scene for yourself. Apart from herds of elephants (sometimes as many as 500 animals), you might also see lions, leopards and the rest of the “Big Five”. Looking out from Observation Hill, you will see buffalos, hippos and water birds frolicking in the swamps below.
