Day 1: Arrive to Oslo
Welcome to the Kingdom of Norway! – A country with the most beautiful fjords on Earth.
Arrival to Oslo, vibrant city surrounded by forests and the beautiful Oslofjord. Upon arrival, transfer to a hotel in the city centre on your own. Rest of the day at leisure - walk along the streets and explore the
city of the royal family, and the main Karl Johan’s street, with many shops, bars and cafes.
Day 2: Oslo
After breakfast you will be picked up for your sightseeing tour of Oslo. The tour is a perfect combination of all the “must see” attractions in Oslo: the main landmarks in the city center, the impressive Holmenkollen ski jump, the stunning Vigeland Sculpture Park, visits to the Fram Museum and to the Viking Ship Museum, and a delightful 2-hour cruise on Oslo fjord. The best way to explore all the city’s highlights and to admire the natural splendour of Oslo from the sea.
Day 3: Oslo - Flam
Make your way to train station and depart early to Myrdal by train. Myrdal station is a mountain railway station and junction, located about 13 km from the village Flåm. Here you will board the famous Flåmsbana - one of the steepest train lines in the world. The train journey runs through fantastic nature, past the Rallar road, steep mountains, breath-taking waterfalls, through 20 tunnels and offers so many viewpoints that many feel like travelling multiple times between the mountain and the fjord.
Arrive to Flåm, where you will have some free time to discover this beautiful village. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 4: Flam to Bergen
Today you will continue on this scenic adventure as you depart from Flåm by boat. You will enjoy a cruise on the Aurlandsjord and Nærøyfjord (UNESCO), the arms of the famous Sognefjord, which is also called the King of the Fjords. Some call them the most beautiful fjords of Norway – we will let you to be a judge of that. Upon arrival to Gudvangen, transfer to Voss by bus, where you will board your train to Bergen. After late arrival to Bergen, walk to your hotel across the street from the railway station.
Day 5: Bergen to Tromso
Enjoy the breakfast and the hotel and discover this world heritage city on your own today. Bergen is the Gateway to the Fjords of Norway. As a UNESCO World Heritage City and a European City of Culture, the Bergen region has the ideal combination of nature, culture and exciting urban life all year around. Pass through the most emblematic places such as the Hanseatic Bryggen, with the church of Mary, the Hakon fortress and the famous fish market. Take a ride on the spectacular Fløibanen Funicular, which will take you on the top of the Mountain Fløyen, for overall view of the city.
Evening flight to Tromsø – flight and transfers under own arrangements.
Day 6: Tromso
Your day is at your leisure and in the evening you will join a Midnight Sun Adventure by the Rib boat
In a Rib boat we will drive to where we can see the idyllic little island Gåsvær that holds a little church out in the open sea. From here the view toward north is undisturbed and we will see the sun that never
sets… The midnight sun. Harbor seals are often seen popping their heads up from the water and if we are lucky, we might also see the small harbor porpoises. Shags, the white-tailed eagle and the Golden
eagle is a common sight in our area as well as puffins, guillemots, theists, and European storm petrels.
Day 7: Tromso
After breakfast meet your guide and driver for a half day of sightseeing by minibus around Tromsø.
Visit the Arctic University Museum of Norway to learn about Norway’s indigenous Sami people, the Viking age and the Northern Lights. Drive around the island to see many views and highlights such as the Arctic Cathedral.
For the highlight of the tour, climb 421m above sea level on the Fjellheisen cable car! Enjoy the breath-taking views of Tromsø and its beautiful Arctic surroundings. Finally, have a tasty hot soup at our
favourite local restaurant in the oldest part of town.
Day 8: Depart
After enjoying your breakfast, check out from the hotel and continue with your onward travel arrangements.
