From the country’s main island, Tahiti, across to her enchanting sister island, Moorea, and to the incredibly beautiful Bora Bora, these islands are a tropical dream and represent only the tip of the iceberg when selecting the perfect Tahitian getaway! French Polynesia is made up of 130 islands scattered across five archipelagos. The Society Island group which is the most popular includes the islands of Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora and Marlon Brando’s Tetiaroa paradise atoll. The Tuamotu Islands with popular islands like Rangiroa, Tikehau and Manihi offer pristine beauty and a unique underwater world which is perfect for snorkelling and diving. The outlying Gambier Islands, Marquesas Islands and the Austral Islands make up the remainder of French Polynesia and offer breathtakingly wild nature and beaches.
